THE WOODLANDS 2

  • Lincoln Park 8011 Fauntleroy Way Southwest Seattle, WA, 98136 United States (map)

We’re traveling to the woods to witness and encourage poetry, music, spiritual practices, community, joy, & more. We’ve taken on the challenge to reimagine anti-capitalist organizing, healing, listening, and learning together in community. The Woodlands takes place outdoors and centers the earthbound relationship we as Black & LGBTQ+ identifying folks have generated through ancestorship. DECODE FLYER FOR LOCATION!!

This is a FREE event. Donations are heavily encouraged though.

We will have:

-Tarot

-Reiki

-Yoga

-Face Painting

-Live Performances

-Food and Drinks

We encourage you to bring your own blankets, BYOB, BYOW, and snacks that you would want. We also encourage you to bring things to set up personal altars in the space if you wish. Anything that will make you feel comfortable and safe.

Things to remember: we are here to be free and disconnect. DON'T bring any drama or hate of any kind to this event. This space is special and really serves as a place for black queer folks to really be free of any of the BS. Also, we will be taking pictures and videos. This content will be used for social media. Lastly, when we say 'rogue' we mean it. This isn't a traditional event. Re-read anti-captalism
