Back From Tanzania Healing Journey Besa Gordon Thanks Trae Holiday for Her Support

It is all smiles in the Black Media Matters Studio as Besa Gordon stopped by to support Trae Holiday during this weeks taping of The Day With Trae.

Besa Gordon, the beloved host of Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle, has returned to the Emerald City after her healing journey to Tanzania. While still on leave to prioritize her health, Besa made a special visit to the Black Media Matters studio to personally express her gratitude to TraeAnna Holiday, who has been graciously filling in as guest host since taking over from Deaunte Damper.

Besa's openness about her health struggles has resonated with many viewers, and her decision to take a temporary break from the show to focus on her well-being has been met with overwhelming support. During her time in Tanzania, Besa immersed herself in the local culture and explored traditional healing practices.

Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, Besa's first stop upon returning to Seattle was the Black Media Matters studio. She wanted to personally thank TraeAnna for her dedication and for keeping the spirit of "Back2Besa" alive during her absence.

"TraeAnna has been doing an amazing job," Besa expressed. "She brings her own unique energy and perspective to the show, and I'm incredibly grateful for her willingness to step in."

TraeAnna, a longtime friend of Besa's, was honored to have the opportunity to host Back2Besa.

"Seeing Besa back and looking healthy is the best news," TraeAnna shared. "Hosting the show has been a fantastic experience thus far, and I'm proud of the work we've done together."

While Besa continues her recovery journey off-screen, TraeAnna will continue as guest host for a few more weeks before passing the mic to Takiyah “TDUB” Ward. Besa is eagerly anticipating her return to the show and is thankful for the support she's received from her viewers, colleagues, and friends.
