Beau Legs Fish N' Chips Brings A Taste Of The South To Lacey, Washington

Have you heard of Beau Legs Fish and Chips in Lacey, Washington? The family-owned restaurant has been serving the community for the last 15 years and is going strong. Serving staples like jambalaya, grits, gumbo and more, Beau Legs uses family recipes to bring soul food to Lacey.

“We’re all about getting the south in your mouth here in the Northwest,” Co-owner Shelly Harris said. 

The dream of opening the restaurant was always something Harris and her husband had kept in the back of their minds, and they’re grateful they finally took the leap.

“My husband was like ‘we’re going to step out on faith - God has brought us this far’, and we did just that,” Shelly Harris said. “Ever since we stepped out on our faith Beau Legs has been doing awesome.”

Harris says their customers have kept them going, and that even through the pandemic they would sit outside and tailgate just to get a taste of the Beau Legs food. 

“I would like to invite future customers who have never come here to step inside and eat some real find quality Southern food,” Harris said. “Come in here and give us a try.”
