Gordon's enthusiasm was visible as she recounted her experience interviewing keynote speaker Hill Harper. "Hill Harper has so much energy," she exclaimed. "His speech was so powerful, it made you want to be part of the change. I left feeling energized and ready to take action!"

Mayovsky, clearly impressed by Harper's activism and political engagement, remarked on his impactful message. Gordon wholeheartedly agreed, emphasizing the collective sense of purpose within the room. "Everyone was there to do the work," she stated. "The atmosphere was electric."

The conversation then turned to Gordon's passion for storytelling and her commitment to covering diverse communities across the Northwest. "It's so important to connect with people and tell their stories," she explained. "Back2Besa is all about showcasing the best of our region and highlighting the positive efforts happening in our communities."
