Besa Gordon Shares Her Excitement About Being Honored at PDX Hip-Hop Week 2024
By Besa Gordon - PDX Hip-Hop Week is officially here, and I’m so excited to be honored this year with the Hip-Hop Wine and Chill with the Radio and TV Personality Trailblazer Award. But that’s not all! Omari Salisbury, CEO and Co-Founder of Converge is getting the Impact Leadership Award. As some of you may have noticed, over the last couple of years, we’ve spent a lot of time going to Portland, highlighting their music scene, Black owned Businesses, we’ve even covered some of their sporting events. To see it not only noticed but honored is nothing short of a beautiful feeling.
I’ve always said that sometimes Portland feels like a second home to me when I’m there, and moments like this solidify that feeling. SO, if you’re in the Portland area, pull up on us at the Hip-Hop Wine and Chill happening tomorrow at Abbey Creek Winery.
