Creamy Cone Cafe Serves Locally Sourced Ice Cream and Positivity

Seattle native Ashanti Mayfield is serving ice cream sourced from right here in the Pacific Northwest at the Creamy Cone Cafe. Watch the video to see what delicious flavors are available at the cafe and what other options are on the menu. Mayfield says her inspiration to open the cafe came from seeing the desire for more food options in the area, and she wanted to give people a way to brighten up their days with good ice cream and great customer service.

“We’re all about affirmations, and just positivity, and teaching kindness,” Mayfield said. “I love making people feel appreciated and letting them know that they matter is really important here.”

A licensed cosmetologist, Mayfield didn’t initially intend to open an ice cream shop in the space when she acquired it. During the pandemic, though, her focus shifted to how she could serve the community with both positivity and a great menu.

“This area kind of needed something that was new and family-friendly,” Mayfield said. “This area has rich culture and history, and I’m glad we’re here.”

The shop is located at 9433 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118
