PHOTOS: Cool Nutz celebrates birthday party at Alberta St. Pub in Portland, OR.

Portland music industry icon, Cool Nutz, recently took it back to his roots and celebrated his birthday bash at Alberta Street Pub in NE Portland just blocks from his original studio where he started making music years ago. Family, friends, fans, and  supporters from across Portland and as far away as Seattle and Eugene all showed up and showed out to literally give the Rose City rap legend his flowers.

Not only was this a day to celebrate his birthday, it also was an album release party, where everyone in attendance was able to hear new music that was dropping from Cool Nutz, in a live performance setting.

If you haven’t already, help us wish Cool Nutz a happy belated birthday, and be sure to get his lastest single “What I’m about 24 (The Grind)”featuring Toni Hill and Tope on all streaming platforms.

Our cameras were there, during this very special celebration. As we interviewed nearly a dozen well wishers, about the man of the hour, and the long lasting footprint he’s left on the hip-hop community in Portland.

See the full segment next week on Back2Besa Saturday at 10:30 PM, on FOX 13 Seattle, and the replay Sunday at 10 AM on Fox 13+.
