Sankofa Boutique: Elevating Your Energy in the Heart of Capitol Hill

Now, you know I love my crystals, right? Not too long ago, I learned about a Black Women-owned crystal and metaphorical shop in Capital Hill. As often as I’m in the Cap Hill area, I was honestly shocked to learn that it’s been there for three years, and I’m now just learning about it. When I finally stopped by, I was instantly greeted by calm energy, and I felt right at home and even left with some new crystals, candles, incense, bath salts, and more. After taking the items home and reflecting on how good I felt leaving the shop, I just knew I had to feature it on Back2Besa.

Sankofa Boutique is owned by Charika Wilson, who may be a little soft-spoken, but let me tell you, she really knows her crystals. She even suggested some items for me to take home that would help me relax after a long week and others that would keep my energy protected from unwanted vibes.

Since stopping by, I’ve received many compliments on the accessories I bought there. When people come by my apartment, they love the smell of the incense I’ve been burning, and the bath salts I bought there leave me sleeping like a baby and waking up refreshed and energized.

If you’re in the Capitol Hill area and looking for crystals, candles, incense, or even artwork. I highly suggest checking out Sankofa Boutique. And let me know what you get when you go.
