Behind a shutout outing through six innings by ace Luis Castillo, the Mariners bats found some life that they will look to sustain through the rest of the homestand and use as a Kickstarter for the rest of their season.

Mariners dropped the rubber match against the Rangers and lost their first series at home against Texas since 2019. Starting pitcher Luis Castillo hit some bumps in the game, while the Mariners bats failed to complete a late inning comeback.
