The NBA Returns to Seattle for the Rain City Classic and Besa Gordon Brings You Courtside
#BackstagePass - Back2Besa host Besa Gordon tapped in from Climate Pledge Arena for the Rain City Classic between the LA Clippers and the Utah Jazz. She was courtside prior to the game, checking in with VIPs and fans.
Sonics fans were everywhere, repping the green and gold throughout the arena. For most, it was an exciting day and hope for Seattle’s basketball future was evident.
“I really hope they come back. I think when they do I’m going to burst out in tears,” sonics fan Alfy said.

“I think the NBA gives us these games so we can show the support of Seattle fans, so I know the Sonics will be back in a few years,” Bailey said.
Rotary Lady Style Coach Tasha Burns echoed that sentiment, saying she expects to see the team return in her lifetime.
“I’ll be here when it happens,” Burns said.
Gordon said the excitement and sentiment among those in attendance was clear.
“We had a packed house,” Gordon said. “If there’s one thing that I’ve talked to everybody about today, it was ‘bring back our sonics’,” Gordon said.
