Tonight on Back2Besa, guest host Trae Holiday will take the helm in this inspiring episode which showcases the vibrancy of Black culture and community in the Pacific Northwest.

We'll revisit the electrifying Umoja Fest 2024, where hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh rocked the crowd. We'll also get a sneak peek at Chardonnay Beaver's new documentary and book, which explores the rich history of Seattle's Central District.

Plus, we'll catch up with real estate trailblazer Latrice Williams and learn how she's empowering formerly incarcerated individuals to achieve homeownership. We'll also hear from Keisha Garrison about Project Girl, a mentorship program for young women of color in Lynnwood.

In honor of National Black Business Month, we'll show you how to nominate your favorite Black-owned businesses for a chance to be featured on the show.

But that's not all! We'll also journey to Everett to honor the legacy of the Donaldson Black Pioneer family and their contributions to Washington State's history.

And as always, we'll leave you with an inspiring quote from a Black woman who made history. This week, we're featuring words of wisdom from Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman elected to the United States Congress.
