WEIRD AT NIGHT AND THE SPACE RACCOONS FROM MARS

Weird at Night is a surreal comedy Live Stream featuring live music, poetry, drag performances, music videos, sketches, short films, and chat participation. On Weird at Night they believe in attacking with love, and that art is the antidote.  Episode 156 will feature the saxophone stylings of Kayla Carrington, a glorious music video by Divine Augustine for their track DETOX, and a look back at Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the Black woman who invented rock and roll.

Previously on Weird at Night, a charismatic but insecure writer named Dartone the Third created a cult called Raqanon. This cult believed that raccoons were actually from Mars and were here on Earth to take over the planet.  Seattle rapper, and ruler of the WAN-iverse, Da Qween banished Dartone to the monochromatic hellscape of Noirrland for his nonsense.  The Trash Force was formed to protect these cute animals from harm and the day was saved.  But everything was not as it seemed.  These space raccoons are real and have been planning an attack on Dartone the Third for some time.  Their King has sent his only daughter Princess Paprika to hunt Dartone and bring him to justice.  Meanwhile, Trash Force forms an alliance with the space raccoons and now their leader is drunk with power.  Can this story get any weirder?  Yes!  It appears there is a romance brewing between Dartone the Third and Princess Paprika...

This is a surreal comedy, art share, live stream produced by Patrick Galactic and blazinspace. The show is hosted by Patrick and his trusty stuffed animal ‘Gizmo.’ A performer himself, and an acclaimed musician in the Seattle music scene; Patrick is an excellent guide through the new, the deep, the weird and the hilarious.
