Isaiah Anderson JR. Talks “Snow Whyte & The Seven - each one teach one” on The Day With Trae
Isiah Anderson Jr., a native of Joliet, IL, arrived in Seattle in 1984 and has been a part of the city's vibrant arts scene ever since. Raised by a single mother, he became a single parent himself, successfully raising two sons. Isiah's deep involvement in the performing arts includes roles as the Parks Department Recreation Program Coordinator for Citywide Performing Arts and Co-Owner/Artistic Director of Acts On Stage Theater. From 1990 to 2009, he was the Teen Development Leader/Educator for the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute's after-school Hearts and Minds program.
As the Director of the Parks and Recreation Annual Teen Summer Musicals, he has showcased his creative talents by directing numerous original urban theatrical hits, including Grease "The Way We Do It," The Soul of Beauty and the Beast, and various adaptations of The Wiz. Isiah is also a member of B.U.I.L.D (Brothers United In Leadership Development), an accomplished actor, and a nationally recognized comedian, with appearances on BET Comic View and Russell Simmons's Def Jam Comedy Tour. He attributes his many blessings to his faith.
Recently, Isiah appeared on The Day With Trae to discuss his role as the Artistic Director of Acts on Stage and the Director of Snow Whyte & The Seven - Each One Teach One, offering insights into this year's production and his connection with the cast.
