Mary Anderson talks judicial candidacy

Meet Mary Anderson, she is a trailblazer, becoming the first college graduate in her family and later graduating from Seattle University Law School. She established her firm, Guidance to Justice, and has since built a reputation as an accomplished trial attorney with over 14 years of experience in fields including real estate, consumer protection, civil rights, class actions, personal injury, criminal, and family law. Her legal acumen has led her to argue successfully before the Washington State Supreme Court. With a broad knowledge base and over 25 years of business experience, Mary transitioned to serve the community as a judge. As an experienced pro tem judge, she has presided over 1,700 civil and criminal cases.

Mary stopped by The Day With Trae to discuss her judicial philosophy, emphasizing fairness, impartiality, and her commitment to justice. She also highlighted her motivation for running, the broad spectrum of endorsements she has received, and her vision for addressing key issues within the legal system. In addition to her legal career, Mary has successfully opened and managed a construction and mortgage company and spent over a decade as a licensed Realtor. She has shared her expertise by teaching trial skills internationally, volunteering at the YMCA for high school mock trial competitions, and mentoring trial attorneys. Married to her high school sweetheart, they have raised a daughter who served in the United States Navy. On the bench, Mary is committed to impartiality, public safety, and upholding the law and Constitution to ensure fair trials for all.
