🎤 Meet Shaina Shepherd, the soul-grunge frontwoman turned piano songstress with a unique sound that defies genre. With vocal stylings inspired by gospel and garbage metal, Shaina has been making waves in diverse creative spaces. Rolling Stone even lovingly branded her sound as "Tina Simone" in 2022. 🎶

🎹 Shaina combines rock opera theatrics with stony, piano-laden storytelling to create heart songs steeped in American folk. She redefines the Outlaw genre with an infusion of Tina Turner, Dinah Washington, and Nina Simone. Currently on the road after recording her first body of work, Shaina is also a community organizer, music educator, and event producer in Seattle, WA. 🎶

🎼 It's no surprise Shaina is a member of the PNW chapter of the Recording Academy (Grammys), a member of the Seattle Music Commission, and a member of the board at SMASH.
