Naomi Kirori shares her background and community engagement

Meet Naomi Kirori, a dynamic individual who proudly embraces their Blaq (Black and queer) identity, which has profoundly shaped their life and worldview. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Naomi uses they/them and she/her pronouns and currently attends an HBCU in Atlanta, Georgia. Naomi’s adventurous spirit fuels their curiosity about the world, driving a deep interest in exploring different cultures, cuisines, and lifestyles. Raised in a single-parent, low-income household with their mother and twin brother, Naomi’s experiences have instilled a passion for advocating for underrepresented communities and fostering inclusivity. An avid nature enthusiast, Naomi loves trying new things and dreams of traveling the world to tell stories that highlight diverse voices and perspectives.
