T R Miles and his artistic approach to broken glass

Meet Troy Miles, also known as T R Miles, a Seattle-based artist whose innovative approach to digital art has earned him the title of "Pixel Painter" and "The Original Digital". With his unique style known as "Broken Glass Art" (BGA), Troy is redefining the boundaries of digital art, blending abstraction and realism to create dynamic and mythical portrayals of his subjects. Using a mouse as his brush, Troy crafts shapes reminiscent of broken glass pieces, resulting in a distinctive and improvisational artistic process. He describes his method as akin to a jazz solo, allowing the creative flow while staying true to the essence of each piece. Troy's Broken Glass Art is not just a style; it's a testament to his creativity and vision, pushing the boundaries of digital artistry.

Troy stopped by The Day With Trae to discuss promoting the July 13 show opening: "Seattle Black Renaissance Artists" (SEABRAS). This exciting event showcases the work of talented Black artists in the Seattle community, offering a platform for their voices and perspectives to be celebrated. As a prominent figure in the local art scene, Troy's involvement in SEABRAS highlights his commitment to supporting and uplifting fellow artists of color. We look forward to hearing more about this inspiring initiative and Troy's contributions to the vibrant artistic landscape of Seattle.
