Deaunte Damper Previews This Weeks Episode of Back2Besa on Good Day Seattle

Deaunte Damper, host of Converge Media's We Live In Color, stepped in for Besa Gordon on FOX 13 Seattle's Good Day Seattle this week. Gordon is currently taking time off to address some health concerns.

During his appearance, Damper discussed his show, "We Live in Color," which amplifies the voices of Black LGBTQ community members. The show is currently in its second season and continues to provide a platform for underrepresented voices. Damper expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to shed light on the experiences and perspectives of the Black LGBTQ community.

The conversation also touched on Damper's recent recognition as one of Seattle's top 50 LGBTQ changemakers by the Seattle Times. He dedicated this honor to the memory of community members lost to the Fentanyl crisis and ongoing struggles against homophobia and transphobia.

Damper also provided a sneak peek into this weekend's episode of Back2Besa, which will feature highlights from a Juneteenth celebration at the Well Gallery. The event focused on empowering and celebrating Black women, and Damper described the atmosphere as vibrant and uplifting. He emphasized the importance of visibility and representation for the Black community and expressed his excitement for viewers to witness the powerful stories shared at the event.
