Holiday believes the campaign's success hinges on community engagement. "This actually needs to be driven by the community," she asserted. Those who are on the front lines...are dealing with families who are impacted, dealing with folks who are finding themselves victims of gun violence." By shedding light on the work of these frontline individuals and organizations, Holiday aims to inspire others to join the fight.

In a world often saturated with news of violence, it's easy to become desensitized. Holiday stressed the importance of resisting apathy and maintaining empathy. "One of the things that I'm working to do is inspire people with the stories on The Day With Trae so that that inspiration can actually be the antithesis to the apathy," she explained.

Holiday encouraged viewers to seek out local organizations dedicated to preventing gun violence. "There are organizations, there are community groups that people can pour into," she said. "It doesn't matter if you have a little bit of money, if you have a little bit of time, but if you're giving to something that is greater than yourself, we actually see that that is so helpful and beneficial to those who they're serving."

The 100 Days of Action campaign is a collaborative effort, drawing support from a wide range of community members and organizations. Holiday highlighted the importance of elected officials using their platforms to amplify the voices of those working on the ground. "It's important that they are led by community voice and those that are doing this work on the ground," she said.
