SINCE I BEEN DOWN
As part of our Fade to Black film series, join LANGSTON for a special screening of Gilda Sheppard's Since I Been Down and post-film talkback. In the film we meet Kimonti Carter and the innovative prisoner education program he founded: TEACH. The film unravels why children commit violent crime and how these children – now adults – are breaking free from their fate by creating a model of justice that is transforming their lives, our humanity and a quality of life for all our children.
