Besa Gordon Brings the Pacific Northwest's Black Brilliance to the National Stage on Fox Soul

In the final episode of The Day With Trae, for 2024, Trae Holiday sat down with collegaue Besa Gordon to discuss the evolution of her hit show "Back to Besa" as it prepares to launch on the national Fox Soul platform.

Throughout the conversation, Besa emphasized the importance of authentically representing the diverse black communities across the Pacific Northwest. "If people didn't know what the PW was like before, they're gonna have an eye-opening," she shared. "We're able to take this same black joy that we've shown here to where there were people that were here didn't even understand that it was this dope, to where now we're gonna show the entire country."

Trae and Besa also discussed the collaborative spirit of the Converge Media team, whose members will be joining Besa on the Fox Soul journey. "I'm not going by myself. I'm taking my Converge family with me," Besa proudly announced, introducing viewers to the lineup of familiar faces they can expect to see on the national stage.

"We literally tell our community's story - the highs and lows, the tears and joy," Besa shared. "Outside of people just being excited, a big thing I've been hearing is 'Thank you, we've never seen ourselves like this before.'" Don't miss this inspiring interview as Besa and Trae celebrate the national debut of "Back to Besa" on Fox Soul, starting December 7th.
