Besa Gordon Raises a Glass to WeRise Wines on Good Day Seattle

Besa Gordon appeared on Good Day Seattle with Erin Mayovsky on FOX 13 Seattle this morning to introduce viewers to WeRise Wines, a new wine bar and shop in downtown Seattle.

WeRise Wines is committed to inclusivity, highlighting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ winemakers from across the state and region.

"Their whole mission is to highlight different BIPOC and LGBTQ+ winemakers from across the state and even the region. So you're going in there, and you will literally see, at least I personally will literally see, every time I go in there, wine bottles that I don't typically see anywhere else," said Besa.

WeRise Wines offers a unique opportunity to learn about the stories behind each bottle and the winemakers who craft them.

Erin noted, "It's always interesting to see what is behind the bottles and the makers who put them together because usually there's a significant meaning."

Besa agreed, "Absolutely, there's always a story. And, like she said, each wine has a story. And like I said, they're there to tell you those stories."

The wine bar and shop has a cozy atmosphere with tables and couches where patrons can relax and enjoy their wine.  Located down the street from Moore Theater, it's the perfect spot to visit before or after a show.
