On Friday, Champions of Change hosted their annual celebrity basketball game featuring Seattle sports legends. Led by Doug Baldwin, the game featured Seahawks legends, former NBA All-Stars, WNBA players, mascots and more. Our Bel Garcia and Mat Bermudez were there to take in the scenes and connect with some of the Pacific Northwest’s favorite athletes. 

“It’s amazing to be able to bring awareness to so many great causes and bring the game of basketball to people is a win win,” 5x WNBA All-Star Jewel Loyd said. “The city deserves it.”

The game featured Loyd, Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett, Richard Sherman, Isaiah Thomas, Jamal Crawford, and many more. It was a memorable night for all in attendance, and continued to show why Seattle is a basketball city.

“You dream about times like this - being able to be here in Seattle is always fun,” NBA Legend Jamal Crawford said. “The game is one part of it, but the community impact is the bigger part.”
