Jeff Greene Shares His Journey in Pet Care and Entrepreneurship on "The Day with Trae"

In a recent episode of The Day with Trae, host Trae Holiday welcomed Jeff Greene, founder of Elite K9 Academy and BoneYard Seattle, discussed his passion for dog training, pet care, and community-driven entrepreneurship. The 26-year-old Atlanta native and Seattle transplant shared how his background as a firefighter inspired his dedication to serving others, which evolved into a thriving career in the pet industry.

Jeff began his journey in dog training with his own dog, Boss, a chocolate pit-lab mix who had separation anxiety and behavioral challenges. This experience led him to dive into the world of dog training, eventually founding Elite K9 Academy. His business offers world-class behavior modification, in-home training, dog boarding, and daycare. With a focus on solving behavioral issues that happen in the home, Jeff and his team have achieved a 95-97% success rate, offering dog owners peace of mind.

In collaboration with Dagmar Rehse, Jeff also co-founded BoneYard Seattle, a unique space located in the Central District that combines a dog-friendly tavern with a dog daycare and boarding facility. BoneYard offers community members a chance to socialize with their dogs while enjoying drinks, with themed events like trivia nights, open mics, and upcoming R&B nights.

In the interview, Jeff also announced his latest passion project—a podcast aimed at dog owners and professionals, covering topics from dog nutrition and training to understanding the different cultural approaches to pet care. His goal is to educate and inspire listeners while creating a global platform for those in the pet industry.
