Kraken Fans Show Support Prior to First Home Playoff Game in Franchise History

Last night, the Kraken hosted their first home playoff game in franchise history. Despite losing 6-4 to the Colorado Avalanche, the atmosphere outside Climate Pledge Arena before the game was electric and our Besa Gordon and Bel Garcia were there to take it all in.

“I feel like the city has come to life,” Director of Fan Development Kyle Boyd said. “The buzz is electric and we’re excited that our fans are here and ready to go.”

Pregame festivities included ice sculptures, food, a drum line, die hard kraken fans and more - hear from them in the video.

“There was a lot going on,” Garcia said. “The whole mood tonight has been perfect.”

“Everyone here was so excited and so friendly,” Gordon said.

Stay tuned for more coverage throughout the week as the Kraken continue their series with the Avalanche tomorrow night.
