Amanda Morgan on Breaking Barriers, Mentorship, and the Future of Ballet

Amanda Morgan, the groundbreaking first Black female lead soloist at Pacific Northwest Ballet, opened up about her inspiring journey during her interview with Trae Holiday.  She reflected on her recent debuts in iconic Balanchine roles, stating, "It was honestly unreal."  

Morgan's commitment to mentorship and mental health advocacy shines through. She emphasizes the importance of supporting dancers' well-being and fostering a positive environment. Her dedication extends to her pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Arts Management, showcasing her passion for both dance and the business side of the arts.
