Dr. Sonya Walker: A Champion of Community Health and Well-Being
Yolanda Galery is a self-disciplined artist based in Seattle, Washington. Working primarily in acrylic and digital mediums, Yolanda's art is a reflection of her deep appreciation for the world around her.
Born in Colorado, Yolanda spent her childhood in Eastern Washington, where she began nurturing her artistic talents at a young age. Even as a child, she showed a keen eye for detail, creating portraits of friends and family that captured their unique personalities.
Although Yolanda pursued a career in Laboratory Science, her passion for art never waned. Eventually, she decided to follow her true calling and now practices art full-time. Yolanda's work is a testament to her dedication and the joy she finds in the creative process.
Inspired by her surroundings and her own life experiences, Yolanda strives to add a little more color to our everyday field of vision. Her art is a celebration of the beauty that can be found in the ordinary, and a reminder to appreciate the vibrant hues that make up our world.
Yolanda recently stopped by The Day With Trae and talked with Trae Holiday about the artist journey and SEABRAs show at the Columbia City Gallery.
