Kimisha has since moved to the east coast with her family and has spent the last year settling into east coast life with her sister and son Malcolm. Kimisha has been making incredibly impactful art in Seattle for years, ever since an incredibly pivotal moment in her life. She was faced with choosing between the armed forces and art school and that choice led her to Cornish where she studied and graduated.

Seattle’s Landmark BLM Street Mural gets a fresh coat
July 9th marked an annual occasion for the VividMatterCollective (VMC), as they spent the day repairing the world famous Black Lives Matter Street mural on Capitol Hill. Set between the south end of Cal Anderson Park and Rancho Bravo, the mural takes up an entire lane between 10th and 11th Ave.

Episode one of the new series Art Of The Matter, hosted by TDUB, features abstract artist Moses Sun. This episode was filmed last September during Moses' show 'Freedom Ain't Free: Conversations with my Father' a mixed media installation based on "conversations with my dad and life events that shape my worldview". TDUB also visits Moses at his home studio, to see him in-process and discuss the depths of his work. The connection between Moses and TDUB is apparent and makes for a no holds barred exchange between friends about all things art, life and family.
