The multi-talented Latrice Williams has not only built one of Spokane's fastest growing Real Estate companies, but she’s also a talented musician, the legislative lead for housing and homeless advocacy for District 4, and an author. Her journey, though, hasn’t been easy. As a formerly incarcerated Black woman, Williams fought her way into the world of corporate real estate firms before realizing it wasn’t for her. She said she felt overlooked and knew that she needed a change.

Dude. This is not a drill Trap Kitchen Weekend is this Friday and I can’t wait! Like seriously, me and Big O literally jumped in a car Saturday and drove alllllll the way (I mean I guess it’s not that far) to PDX for me to get some more of that amazing Trap Kitchen food and to see the space that will hold this year's Trap Kitchen Weekend.
Food-wise, you already know I grabbed the baller box which comes with, snow crab legs, a lobster tail, shrimp, salmon, and fries. Big O got the garlic noodles with snow crab legs and a lobster tail. As for our drinks, we got the berry lemonade and even took one to go!
#ConvergeOnTheRoad - Spokane’s Terrain Arts Festival is Largest in the region
The annual Terrain Arts Festival in Spokane returned after a two and a half year hiatus due to the pandemic. The event featured over 500 artists from a variety of disciplines, creating a festival inclusive of all art forms. There was visual art, dance performances, live music, film, literature and more throughout the night, bringing the region together to celebrate the beauty of creativity.

A few months ago the City of Spokane made some local history when they named their first public school after a Black woman. This was no ordinary Black woman, Frances L. Scott was a trailblazing educator, activist, lawyer, and force in Spokane for decades.
